> The Venue

The Adelaide Showground is one of the premier venues of South Australia.Managed by the oldest business association in South Australia, established in 1839, the Adelaide Showground boasts a wealth of history and experience that is unmatched in this State.

In its current location, it has been home to the Royal Adelaide Show, the State's largest single event, since 1925 when the Showground moved from North Terrace to Wayville. Since then the precinct has continued to develop to ensure it keeps pace with ever changing public needs and to provide event organisers with an environment of unequalled versatility.

The Adelaide Showground has been part of the fabric of South Australia for generations. It has always been the people's place. As a not-for-profit organisation, the Showground hosts not just commercial events of all types and sizes, but is also home to the Wayville Sports Centre, Edge International, Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society Archives and Adelaide Showground Farmers Market.

It welcomes one million visitors to over 100 events each year and is home to Trade Shows, Sports Events, Conferences, Gala Dinners, Team Building Events, Product Launches, Staged Productions and Public Exhibitions
